Here's a rare species for the serious collector of golden cubanite from one of the worlds premier localities, the old Henderson #2 Mine, Chibougamau, Quebec, Canada. Most are thumbnail specimens mounted in 1.25 inch square plastic perky boxes for display and protection. Cubanite is a very rare copper associated mineral that has been reported from very few localities worldwide. This locality has been written up in the Mineralogical Record on numerous occasions including; Volume 14, pages 151-155; Volume 15, page 49; Volume 18, pages 408 & 431; Volume 19 Pages 210 and 213; and Volume 20, pages 236 and 393. According to this highly regarded magazine, this locality has provided the finest cubanite specimens in the world. These come from an old Canadian collection I recently purchased. Do a web search, you will not find a better deal on these anywhere. Matrix specimens are especially hard to find!
